Mardi (22 septembre), on profite encore un peu de Zion en allant faire Angels Landing, une des ballades aériennes non recommandées pour les personnes sensibles…
On commence par faire une petite pause photo à la « cour des Patriarches », les trois sommets blancs ont été nommés après les rois mages : Abraham, Isaac et Jacob.
On Tuesday (September 22), we enjoy a bit more Zion by hiking to Angels Landing, one of the airy walks not recommended for sensible persons…
We start with a short stop at the Court of the Patriarchs, the three white summits named after the patriarchs: Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
On reprend ensuite la navette jusqu’au point de départ d’Angles Landing, pas loin du départ des Narrows.
Le chemin n’est pas difficile, par contre la dernière partie pour monter au sommet est assez gazeuse et certaines personnes s’agrippent bien au câble… Ca fait donc quelques bouchons ;-)
We then take the next shuttle up to Angels Landing starting point, not too far from the Narrows’ start.
The path is quite easy, however the last part to climb to the summit is airy and some people are holding the cable hard… Therefore, there are some traffic jams ;-)

Un peu à notre surprise, on a aussi vu une belle bête en plus des biches dans la vallée… Ce n’est pas un ours mais un condor de Californie qui attendait peut être qu’un gentil touriste fasse un faux-pas et tombe par terre ;-)
Il a fait un petit vol devant nous avant de revenir se poser sur son arbre pendant un long (très long) moment. Et un peu après qu’on soit reparti, il a repris son envol, forcément !
Entre ours et condor mon cœur balance…
Quite surprisingly for us, we also saw a beautiful animal on top of the deer in the valley… It wasn’t a bear but a California Condor, maybe waiting for somebody to fall from the cliff ;-)
It did a small flight in front of us before landing again on its tree for a long (very long) period. He flew again just after we left… of course!
Ahhh, I’m torn between bears and condors…
Et en fin de matinée, on reprend notre route en direction de Bryce Canyon…
Before lunch time, we take the car again towards Bryce Canyon…
